GeoSense – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how GeoSense ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application GeoSense ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

Device Identifier: A randomly generated device ID to create your anonymous account.
Username: An optional display name you choose.
Game Data: Your scores, guessed locations, distance results, streak data, and play history.
Device Information: Device type and OS version, used for analytics and error reporting via Sentry.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the App (Daily Challenge, Endless Mode, Region Training, leaderboard).
To display your rank on the global leaderboard.
To track your daily streak and game statistics.
To improve the App through anonymous analytics.
To detect and fix errors using Sentry crash reporting.

3. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. We display banner and interstitial ads. Premium users can remove all ads.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Google AdMob – for advertising purposes.
Firebase Analytics – for anonymous usage analytics.
Sentry – for crash reporting and error monitoring.

5. Location Data

The App does not collect your real-world location. The location data in the App refers only to your guesses on the in-app world map during gameplay.

6. Data Retention

Game results and leaderboard data are retained as long as you use the App. You can delete your account and all associated data through the App settings, or by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
