This Privacy Policy describes how MatchRate ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application MatchRate ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

• Device Identifier: A randomly generated device ID to create your anonymous account.
• Username: An optional display name you choose, used to identify you in compatibility results.
• Quiz Data: Your answers to compatibility questions and match results shared with friends.
• Device Information: Device type and OS version, used for analytics and error reporting via Sentry.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the App (compatibility tests, result sharing, match history).
• To calculate and display your compatibility score with friends.
• To show your past sessions and best match rankings.
• To improve the App through anonymous analytics.
• To detect and fix errors using Sentry crash reporting.

3. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. We display banner ads.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Google AdMob – for advertising purposes.
• Sentry – for crash reporting and error monitoring.

5. Data Retention

Quiz results and match history are retained as long as you use the App. You can request deletion by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
