Name Maker – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Name Maker ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application Name Maker ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

Device Identifier: A randomly generated device ID used to manage your daily generation limits.
Usage Data: Name generation requests (category, language, mood preferences) to provide the service.
Device Information: Device type and OS version, used for analytics and error reporting via Sentry.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide AI-powered name generation based on your preferences.
To manage daily free generation limits.
To improve the App through anonymous analytics (Firebase Analytics).
To detect and fix errors using Sentry crash reporting.

3. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. We display banner and interstitial ads. Premium users can remove all ads.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Google AdMob – for advertising purposes.
Sentry – for crash reporting and error monitoring.
Anthropic (Claude AI) – name generation requests are processed by AI. No personal data is included in these requests.

5. Data Retention

Favorites and history are stored locally on your device. Server-side rate limit data is automatically deleted after 24 hours. You can clear your local data at any time through the app settings.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
