SubWise – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how SubWise ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application SubWise ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

• Subscription Data: Names, prices, billing dates, and categories of subscriptions you enter. This data is stored locally on your device only.
• App Preferences: Your settings such as default currency, notification preferences, and language.
• Device Information: Device type and OS version, used for analytics and error reporting via Sentry.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the App (subscription tracking, cost visualization, renewal reminders).
• To improve the App through anonymous analytics (Firebase Analytics).
• To detect and fix errors using Sentry crash reporting.
• To send local notifications for billing reminders.

3. Data Storage

All subscription data is stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage. We do not transmit your subscription data to any external servers. Your data never leaves your device.

4. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You may remove ads through an in-app purchase.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Google AdMob – for advertising purposes.
• Firebase Analytics – for anonymous usage analytics.
• Sentry – for crash reporting and error monitoring.

6. Data Retention

Subscription data is stored locally on your device and retained as long as you use the App. Uninstalling the App will delete all local data. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

Since all subscription data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data. You can delete individual subscriptions within the App or uninstall the App to remove all data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
