TrueMe – Support & Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how TrueMe ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application TrueMe ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

• Camera Access: The App requires access to your device camera to display your true, unmirrored face and perform symmetry analysis. Photos are captured and stored locally on your device only. We do not upload, transmit, or store your photos or face data on any server.
• Device Information: Device type and OS version, collected automatically for analytics and crash reporting via Firebase and Sentry.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the core functionality of the App — showing your true unmirrored face using the device camera.
• To perform on-device symmetry analysis of your face (no data leaves your device).
• To improve the App through anonymous analytics (Firebase).
• To detect and fix errors using Sentry crash reporting.

3. Face Data & Photos (Local Storage Only)

TrueMe uses the device camera to capture photos and perform facial symmetry analysis entirely on your device. All face data and photos are processed and stored locally on your device only. We do not upload, access, or process your photos or face data on any external server. No face data is shared with any third party. You have full control over your photos and can delete them at any time through the app or your device's storage settings. Face data is retained only as long as you choose to keep photos in the app.

4. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device information for ad personalization as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Google AdMob – for advertising purposes.
• Firebase – for anonymous analytics.
• Sentry – for crash reporting and error monitoring.

Face data and photos are never shared with any third party.

6. User Accounts

The App does not require or support user accounts. No personal information such as name, email, or login credentials is collected.

7. Data Retention

Since all photos and face data are stored locally on your device, no user data is retained on our servers. Analytics and crash data are retained in aggregated, anonymous form.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
