Warranty Keeper – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Warranty Keeper ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application Warranty Keeper ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

Warranty Data: Product names, purchase dates, warranty expiration dates, store names, notes, and category selections you enter. All data is stored locally on your device.
Receipt Photos: Photos of receipts you take or select. These are stored locally on your device only.
Device Information: Device type and OS version, used for analytics and error reporting via Sentry.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the App (warranty tracking, notifications, receipt storage).
To send you local notifications about upcoming warranty expirations.
To improve the App through anonymous analytics.
To detect and fix errors using Sentry crash reporting.

3. Local Data Storage

All warranty data and receipt photos are stored exclusively on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your warranty information or receipt photos on any server.

4. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. Premium users can remove all advertisements.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Google AdMob – for advertising purposes.
Sentry – for crash reporting and error monitoring.

6. Data Retention

All warranty data is stored locally on your device and retained as long as you use the App. Deleting the App will remove all data. You can also delete individual warranty items within the App at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
