Melt – Privacy Policy & Support

This Privacy Policy describes how Melt ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application Melt - Dating & Match ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Email address, nickname, birth date, and gender you provide during registration.
• Profile Information: Photos, area/region, interest tags, value question answers, and mood you set on your profile.
• Chat Messages: Text messages exchanged between matched users within the App.
• Usage Data: Likes, matches, mission completions, and other in-app interactions.
• Location (Area): General area/region you select; we do not collect precise GPS location.
• Device Information: Device type and OS version, used for analytics and error reporting via Firebase Analytics and Sentry.
• Advertising Data: With your permission (ATT), an advertising identifier may be used to show personalized ads via Google AdMob.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and profile.
• To match you with other users based on your preferences, interests, and values.
• To enable messaging between matched users.
• To provide daily missions and engagement features.
• To improve app performance and fix bugs via Sentry error reporting.
• To display advertisements (with your consent).
• To send push notifications such as match alerts and daily reminders (with your permission).

3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Melt offers auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly) that unlock premium features such as unlimited likes, advanced filters, and ad removal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

4. Data Sharing

• Other Users: Your profile information (nickname, photos, age, area, interests, mood) is visible to other users of the App.
• Backend Services: Your data is stored on our secure servers to provide the matching and messaging services.
• Analytics: Firebase Analytics and Sentry receive anonymized usage and error data.
• Advertising: Google AdMob may receive advertising identifiers with your consent.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us or using the in-app account deletion feature. Chat messages are deleted when either participant deletes their account.

6. User-Generated Content

The App allows users to create profiles with photos and text, and to exchange messages. We provide tools for users to report and block inappropriate content or behavior. We may review reported content and take action including removal of content or suspension of accounts.

7. Children's Privacy

Melt is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Users must confirm they are at least 18 years old during registration.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

9. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at app.develop.sk@gmail.com. You can also delete your account directly within the App's settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
